My name is Patricia, I am a 35 year old passionate Physiotherapist, Personal/Group Fitness trainer from the Netherlands. I have 19 years of experience as an individual sports and groups fitness instructor, with additional experience as the Sports Physiotherapist for the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger tour, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) in Italy, the Telstar Soccer team W1 in the Netherlands and the Waverley Rugby Union male Teams in Australia.
I achieved a FIRST place at The One 2015, Les Mills competition and THIRD in the Crossbox Throwdown in 2018. Other Highlights are my Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Physiotherapy, the BB performance course at AFC-Ajax soccer team, a long sport and exercise journey through Australia and gaining my Parkinsons boking certificate. My story:
Since childhood I have been passionate about sports and rehabilitation. I started as a dance coach whilst studying at the Sport and Exercising (Bachelor of Sports). From 2007 - 2011, I continue to develop my skills and knowledge in the field of fitness, where I specialised myself in Bodyattack, Bodypump (Lesmills), Fitness, Crossfit, HipHop, Aerobics/Steps, Spinning and many other classes.
After 6 years of full-time work, I continued with the Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 2017, which taught me more about the human anatomy, physiology, and specifically sports injuries and rehabilitation in order to reach a broader range of public. The Physiotherapy program offered the opportunity to further develop myself as a trainer, it let me travel the world whilst gaining experiences in the workfield that I love, and helped me towards my goal of becoming a specialised physiotherapist and personal trainer from an elite sport team worldwide.
During the studies, I achieved a 1st place as Bodypump Instructor at The One’15, in the Netherlands, and did I got placed 3rd in the Crossbox Throwdown in 2018. Meanwhile I set up my Personal Training business (Yourptp), which gave more flexibility to work and travel, besides completing my studies.
Other great experiences were the work as Physiotherapist at the ATP Challenger Tour in 2023, and the physiotherapy roll that I completed at the ITF World Tennis Tour in woman and men in Italy in 2022. These were an eye-openers and a great start as a professional in the worldwide sports industry.

A few years ago I qualified for a CrossFit competition (throwdown), it was a competition without age division so I knew I wasn’t going to finish in the top ten, I was 40 at the time. Although I’m fairly fit, I’d like to think, I wasn’t completely confident about my performance. I had a talk with Patricia and she had an idea for a trainings schedule, strength was not my weak spot she noticed but stamina and endurance were. We worked together for about two months and during that time she focused on my weaker points, but didn’t forgot to put in the strength side in my training. As predicted I did not finish in the top 10, my original goal was to finish second to last but I ended up just slightly in the 2nd half from the top, so all things considered I performed much better than I hoped for.
Now I include more conditioning in my training program, I’m fitter and stronger than I was when I was thirty.

What I really love about Patricia is that she hit the nail on the head with my years and years of injuries from running. I visited many physios with the most diverse advice, but all without success. Then Patricia quickly saw the problem: my glutes in particular were weak. And after training and exercising them, I could just run again! But what also makes her remarkably good are her spot on tips and tricks for other complaints of the body during sports again and what to do then. Truly an inspired physiotherapist with broad and deep knowledge.

Thanks to the professional help I received under the guidance of Patricia, I overcame my
paralysed forearm, wrist and hand in just under 4 months.
It didn't look hopeful at first, but after several physio treatments, it turned out to be the opposite.

Patricia is very understanding and pleasant to work with, but she is also able to motivate with direct and correct instructions when needed. She made me use muscles that I had never learned to use in other rehabilitation centers, for example exercises for my balance. Patricia is very good in her field, she knows her way around and is not afraid to tackle difficult casuistics like mine with my complex disability. Patricia really is a top-notch person!
